**NEWSFLASH** CIC*** to run at Bramham

Bramham International Horse Trials have added a CIC 3* class to the schedule. Since Sunday 17th May, British Eventing staff have been liaising with event organisers, the FEI and riders to find another venue in the North East Region to host the CIC 3* that was lost from the eventing calendar when the second day of Chatsworth International was cancelled due to flash flooding.

"The CIC 3* is a crucial class for many horse and rider combinations seeking advancement, or looking for vital qualifying runs in order to enter CCI 3* competitions," says British Eventing Sport Manager, Debbie Marfell.

"We are delighted to announce that Bramham International Horse Trials will host a CIC 3* class, which it will run alongside its existing CCI 3* Senior and Under 25 Championship competitions.

Bramham Event Director Nicholas Pritchard said, "The whole team is looking forward to the challenge, and to welcoming CIC competitors to Bramham. I am delighted that we are able to assist the sport in such a positive way".

"The Park is looking marvellous at present and with the addition of the CIC we will be ensured a fantastic weekend of sport".

British Eventing Regional Director Chris Shaw said "Following the loss of Chatsworth I am delighted that Bramham have taken up the considerable challenge of staging the class in addition to their CCI*** classes, and we will be ensuring that they are given every possible support in their endeavours".
