Volvo - Driven by real horsepower at the Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials
Volvo Car UK is pleased to announce that it is the Official Car Sponsor of the Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials near Wetherby, between the 7th and the 10th June 2012. Volvo's Cross Country models will be on display during the four day event, along with a fleet being used for VIP duties throughout.
Over 500 horses will take part during the four days in the Yorkshire Park, with the CCI3* and CIC3* eventing competitions being the highlights of the trials. This year's trials also form the last qualifying opportunity for any British Olympic eventing hopefuls. The Red Devils Parachute Display team will be making a guest appearance on the Saturday; while throughout the entire four days there will be family entertainment and fantastic shopping opportunities to cater for all tastes.
Bramham Event Director Nick Pritchard commented: “We’re excited by this new partnership, and are really looking forward to working with Volvo, especially in in our biggest year yet.”
Volvo's Cross Country models, the XC60, XC70 and XC90, are a perfect match for the requirements of any equestrian enthusiasts. Volvo's range offers versatility and plentiful load carrying capacity to hold all the necessary tack and equipment, with wide tailgate openings to allow easy loading. Those wishing to keep their cars in pristine condition also have the option of using a range of covers and protectors to line the interior boot space. Volvo approved towbars can also be fitted to the entire range, working in conjunction with options fitted to the customer's car, such as the rear view camera that makes easy work of hitching the trailer up and trailer stability assist to minimise the risk of 'fishtailing'.
